Robert is from Thousand Oaks, California. As a dancer after graduating from high school he joined the Contemporary Ballet Company " Bad Boys Of Dance’’ as a soloist. Then shortly after, in 2010 Robert joined the multi Emmy Award winning show "So You Think You Can Dance" where he became a Top 3 finalist on season 7. His popularity on the show secured his place as an AllStar becoming one of their most popular performers, on STYTCD ; The Next Generation performing with JT, taking him all the way to Runner Up. His ‘Mirror’ routine received a record breaking 55 Million hits! Robert starred on Nickelodeon’s "Fresh Beat Band" and numerous TV appearances followed, including “Dancing With The Stars” with Demi Lovato, “ The Ellen Show”, several episodes of "Glee" and guest starred with Jennifer Beals – from the movie ‘Flashdance’ - in the TV hit crime show “Motive”. Robert starred as ‘Drew’ the lead role in the movie “Breaking Through”. He was featured in the “49th Superbowl” halftime show with Katy Perry and was showcased in the Redfoo “Juicy Wiggle” video.
He performed with The First Lady, Michelle Obama on Ellen and at The White House. Robert performed with Jake Owen on the CMT Awards and was invited to dance with Andy Samdberg in the movie Popstar. He is performed in the movie La La Land with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and Mascots directed by Christopher Guest. Robert was featured in the PINK performance at the Billboard Awards and starred with Nick Jonas on The James Corden Show. He guest starred in the tv show “Rosewood” as the role of Damon with actress Janel Perrish. He also performed multiple times on the “OSCARS” and was a lead dancer in a “Target” commercial that aired during the “Grammys”. Most currently, Robert has transitioned into choreography and production. He has recently choreographed for The Ellen Show, a live one night event for social media star Jay Sheety, A Hallmark christmas special, Step Into The Movies for Julianne Hough and Harry Shum. He also was the associate choreographer on an episode of Kidding with Jim Carey, Alter-Ego on FOX, Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club, as well as Disney+ Santa Clauses. Robert has choreographed on season 15, 16, and 17 and was an associate Producer for So You Think You Can Dance. Most recently he is an associate director on the current DWTS Tour for season 33.
