Channing is known for her work on So You Think You Can Dance, where she competed as a top contestant on Season Six of the show. Following the show, she landed a spot as one of the featured dancers appearing alongside Neil Patrick Harris in the opening number of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. Channing’s TV credits include Dancing With The Stars, The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Video Music Awards, American Idol, Dancing With The Stars and The X-Factor. She has performed with artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Florence and the Machine, Rihanna, among others. Most recently she can be found dancing alongside Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrel in the feature film “Spirited”.
Channing is a teacher and choreographer for both CLI Studios and the CLI Conservatory. She was an associate choreographer and company member for the contemporary dance company Shaping Sound. She is now touring the country teaching and working with young artists and dancers of the next generation. Channing has a big heart and a constant curiosity for improving her own craft and the craft of younger dancers. She believes that growth starts and ends with love, and the only way to get to where we want to go is to love where we are now.
