Kathryn is known from her work on SYTYCD as well as Step Up Revolution and Dance-Off. She was a guest-star on CSI: Las Vegas, DWTS, The Academy Awards, The Emmy Awards, and The Kid’s Choice Awards. She has danced for many artists such as Muse, Christina Perri, and Pharrell Williams. Kathryn is a co-creator of the documentary Like Air, and a principal performer in Ted 2. She is a co-founding choreographer of CLI Studios, as well as a member of Stacey Tookey’s, “Still Motion”, and has also been a guest artist with “Shaping Sound”. Kathryn is an educator on DanceMakers convention, a Neurosculpting Meditation Facilitator, and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She is passionate about using mindfulness, movement, somatic awareness, and neuroscience to offer tools and techniques which encourage self-regulation and embodiment in work and life. Through each of her offerings, Kathryn aspires to cultivate a supportive environment that encourages students to gradually develop a deeper sense of self-trust as they refine their ability to attune to their body's intuition. Students are invited to follow their instincts with curiosity, empowering them to take steps towards tending to their unique needs in a classroom setting while also nurturing their journey towards self awareness and self compassion.
